The International 2025 Dota 2 Open Qualifiers: Schedule & Format

The Open Qualifiers for The International 2025 Dota 2 are scheduled to run from May 31st to June 5th. These qualifiers will take place in two distinct stages across six different regions. Teams participating will be competing for coveted slots in the upcoming closed qualifiers for the main event.

The format for all Open Qualifiers is a single-elimination bracket. Matches up to the Round of 16 (Ro16) will be best-of-one (Bo1), while all subsequent matches will be best-of-three (Bo3). Across most regions, three slots for the closed qualifiers are available in each stage. However, in South-East Asia, only two slots are contested per stage. Consequently, a third-place match is included in the structure for most regional qualifiers to determine the final qualifying team.
