Tim Tszyu, hailing from Sydney, Australia, is a former WBO junior middleweight champion and the son of boxing legend Kostya Tszyu. He initially gained recognition by securing the WBO interim junior middleweight title in March 2023 with a ninth-round technical knockout victory against Tony Harrison. He successfully defended this interim title three months later, knocking out Carlos Ocampo in the first round. Tszyu was then promoted to full champion status when Jermell Charlo, the undisputed champion, moved to a higher weight class to compete against Canelo Alvarez. However, Tszyu`s reign as full champion was cut short when he suffered a split decision loss to Sebastian Fundora in March.
Throughout his career, Tszyu has achieved significant wins against notable opponents such as Jeff Horn, Takeshi Inoue, and Terrell Gausha.
