Twitch Streamer LenaGol0vach Banned Amidst Wave of Russian Creator Suspensions

Twitch streamer Sergey Karnaukhov, known as LenaGol0vach, has received a ban on the platform. This incident occurs following a period where many other Russian-speaking content creators also experienced temporary restrictions on their channels, a significant portion of which were later identified as mistaken.

According to data from the StreamerBans service, LenaGol0vach`s account was suspended on the night of May 3rd. The streamer has not yet issued an official statement regarding the situation or provided the formal reason for the ban. His only public reaction on his personal Telegram channel was posting a crying emoji. Previously, access to Karnaukhov`s Twitch page was restricted for 24 hours in late February.

In late April, a number of other popular Russian-language streamers also faced short-term bans on Twitch. Fellow streamer Alexander “VooDooSh” Shalchinov speculated that the underlying issues might include the absence of official platform support within Russia, coupled with inconsistent policy enforcement by the administration.
