West Bromwich Albion has terminated the contract of manager Tony Mowbray with only two games remaining in the season, following a disappointing string of performances.
The 61-year-old`s second term as head coach at The Hawthorns was brief, lasting only three months.

Mowbray rejoined West Brom in January, taking over after Carlos Coberan left for Valencia, 16 years after his initial departure.
However, the experienced manager, who overcame bowel cancer last year, faced a challenging return to the Baggies, securing just five victories in 17 matches.
A poor end to the season, marked by only one win in their last eight fixtures, caused West Brom to drop out of the playoff spots to tenth place.
A 3-1 home defeat against Derby, who are battling relegation, proved to be the final event leading to his dismissal.
A club announcement stated: “West Bromwich Albion has today ended its association with head coach Tony Mowbray.”
“Assistant head coach Mark Venus has also left the club.”
“The club expresses its gratitude to Tony and Mark for their dedication but has decided to part ways due to a recent run of unsatisfactory results.”
“Tony and Mark will always be welcome at The Hawthorns, and their contribution to the club`s 2007/08 Championship title victory will always be remembered.”
“Everyone at Albion wishes Tony and Mark success in their future endeavors.”
Former West Brom player James Morrison will assume control until the season concludes.
Damia Abella and former Baggies goalkeeper Boaz Myhill will assist him.
Morrison, 38, made 341 appearances for the club as a player and has been part of the coaching staff since his retirement.
