Chico Kwasi etched his name in GLORY history on April 25th at the RTM Stage in Rotterdam, becoming only the second fighter to simultaneously hold GLORY world titles in two weight classes. The welterweight champion ascended to capture the middleweight title by defeating Donovan Wisse in a closely contested bout decided in the final round. At 28 years old, Kwasi joins the elite ranks alongside Alex Pereira as a dual-division GLORY champion.
In the co-main event, Tariq ‘Cookie’ Osaro returned to the win column with a decisive victory over his rival Nico ‘Big Sexy’ Horta, securing a first-round knockdown with a powerful uppercut. The light heavyweight ‘proving grounds’ bouts saw victories for Cem Caceres, Mo Touchassie, Stefan Latescu, Mohammed Hamdi, Luis Tavares, and Albert Ugrincic. Each fighter made a strong case for inclusion in the upcoming COLLISION 9 eight-man grand prix for the vacant GLORY light heavyweight world championship on June 13.
Further down the main card, Nabil Khachab secured a narrow decision win against veteran Errol Koning. Mohammed Boutasaa made an impressive promotional debut, defeating Cedric Do.
The GLORY 107 superfight series also delivered exciting matchups. Top heavyweight Rade Opacic earned a unanimous decision victory over Colin George. Deniz Demirkapu continued his streak of entertaining performances with a stoppage win against Mohamed Hamami. Italian prospect Michael Samperi delivered a potential knockout of the year contender in his GLORY debut.
