The true allure of horror has always resided not in what we can physically confront, but in what we can only just glimpse. For those who have spent sleepless nights gripping a controller, attempting to frame tormented spirits through the lens of the legendary Camera Obscura, the sentiment is undoubtedly familiar. As a fervent admirer of the Fatal Frame (or Project Zero, as it’s known locally) series, I have a particular fondness for its signature blend of creeping tension and the persistent, anxiety-inducing need to stare terror directly in the eye to overcome it.
