Invincible Confirmed for Sixth Season, Season 5 Details Revealed

Following the conclusion of its fourth season in the spring, Prime Video has provided updates on the highly anticipated fifth season of Invincible, for which production had already been approved. Fans can expect new episodes to arrive in 2027, likely in the spring, and a significant plot point has been confirmed: the formidable Viltrumite, Conquest, will not be returning, having met his definitive end.

The series continues to be a major success for the streaming platform, garnering both critical acclaim and strong audience reception. In light of this, Prime Video has officially announced that Invincible has also been greenlit for a sixth season. While not yet officially dated, it is anticipated to premiere in 2028.

Further details regarding Season 5 indicate the introduction of the character Gravitator, who will be voiced by Jack Quaid. This move sees Quaid transition from another successful Prime Video superhero series, The Boys, to lending his voice to Invincible, now that his involvement in the former has concluded.

While awaiting the release of future episodes, readers are encouraged to check out our review of Invincible Season 4. Regarding the show’s potential longevity, creator Robert Kirkman had previously envisioned the animated series running for a total of eight seasons.
