Pavel Dailidko Dominates Miha Frlic to Retain BRAVE CF Heavyweight Title

Pavel Dailidko successfully defends title in BRAVE CF 106 main event

June 6, 2026 – Ljubljana, Slovenia: BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF) returned to Slovenia for its seventh event, BRAVE CF 106, held in partnership with World Freefight Challenge at the Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana.

The event showcased two BRAVE CF World Championship bouts and delivered an exciting night of mixed martial arts.

In the headline bout of BRAVE CF 106, Pavel Dailidko, the reigning BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Champion, made a swift defense of his title against Slovenia’s Miha Frlic.

After weathering an initial attack from Frlic, Dailidko found his rhythm. A precise right hand landed cleanly, knocking Frlic to the canvas. Dailidko followed up on the ground with a series of ground-and-pound strikes, prompting the referee to stop the fight just over a minute into the first round. Dailidko retained his heavyweight championship in emphatic fashion.

In the co-main event, Mohamed “L’Ambiance” Said Maalem captured the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Championship, defeating Erko “The Bounty Hunter” Jun in their highly anticipated rematch.

Jun began aggressively with effective leg kicks and body strikes. However, Said Maalem remained composed and gradually shifted the momentum. By the third round, Said Maalem utilized his wrestling to control the fight, leading to Jun’s output slowing down. In the fourth round, Said Maalem rocked Jun, followed him to the ground, and secured the victory with ground-and-pound to claim the title.

Russia’s Marina Merchuk secured a significant upset against the highly-ranked strawweight contender and hometown favorite Monika Kučinič. The fight was a close striking battle, with Merchuk’s counterpunching proving decisive, earning her a split-decision victory.

The undefeated Lasha Abramishvili maintained his BRAVE CF streak with a dominant performance against Brice Picaud, securing a unanimous decision win through his relentless wrestling.

The main card kicked off with a rematch in a catchweight bout, where Bosnia’s Amil Tutić narrowly defeated Slovenia’s David Forster via unanimous decision.

The preliminary card featured five exciting matchups. Domen Drnovšek earned a hard-fought unanimous decision against István Juhász. Timon Huss delivered a quick knockout, stopping Domen Vergles in just 50 seconds. Edin Ramdedovic secured a submission win over Sándor Polik with a guillotine choke. Maja Drnovšek continued her winning streak with a first-round arm-triangle choke submission against Wiktoria Wojciechowska. The event opener saw Leonardo Medeot defeat Tilen Bregant by unanimous decision in an amateur middleweight bout.
