Poncle is actively exploring new avenues for growth. This includes thematic game variations built on the core Vampire Survivors formula, such as the recently announced Warhammer Survivors and the Jujutsu Kaisen project. Beyond these spin-offs, other initiatives aim to broaden the Vampire Survivors franchise, including the roguelike deckbuilder Vampire Crawlers, and a new partnership with comic publisher Titan Comics.
According to released information, Poncle and Titan Comics are joining forces to produce a series of comics and a graphic novel set within the Vampire Survivors universe. The comic series will consist of four issues, with the first installment launching in September. These issues will later be compiled into a graphic novel scheduled for release in March 2027.
Regarding the plot, a press release states: “In this new story, familiar survivors venture into cursed realms filled with unspeakable creatures, hidden lore, and increasingly strange mysteries as they begin to uncover secrets that were never meant to be found. As they seek answers and battle monsters across an endless library, a corrupted dairy factory, and even a mad forest, a terrible and shocking truth finally begins to unfold…”
The screenplay will be penned by David Hazan, creator of Nottingham, with illustrations by Jimmy Kucaj. This duo has previously collaborated on Dread the Halls. The first issue is slated for release on September 9th, and its cover art is presented below.
