Following the trend set by Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft has announced a new controller inspired by Forza Horizon 6. This release boasts one of the most colorful designs yet. In a social media post, the new Xbox boss, Asha Sharma, stated, “Everything about Forza Horizon 6 is beautiful. The accessories had to be too.”
While this is a standard controller model, it features rubberized grips and a design inspired by Japanese road networks. Xbox Wire describes the controller as “one of the most vibrant controllers Xbox has ever released. With a transparent cyan-blue top shell fading into a metallic gradient, it’s accented by volt green, hot pink, and silver. The color accents are further highlighted by a silver metallic D-Pad and dual-toned rubberized diamond grips. The core design inspiration emerged from the Touge roads of Japan.”
Adding to the excitement, the controller is complemented by a matching Xbox Wireless Headset. Its design is described as an extension of “this primordial Horizon Festival theme, decorated in flashy transparent cyan, volt green, and hot pink. The headset was created with Forza super-fans in mind, with special touches like a hot pink logo that evokes pit crew aesthetics, and race track-inspired graphics inside the earcups.”
Both the controller and headset are scheduled for release alongside Forza Horizon 6 on May 19th. They will be available for purchase from the Xbox Store and well-stocked retailers. You can view images and a trailer for these stunning accessories below.
