Fenway Park Set to Host Massachusetts’ First-Ever Bare-Knuckle Fighting Championship Event

Evergreen Fenway Events has announced that Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) will hold its inaugural Massachusetts event at the iconic Fenway Park on Saturday, August 29. This event marks a significant moment as the first sanctioned bare-knuckle fighting competition in the Commonwealth.

The fight night will be staged directly on the baseball field and will be headlined by the BKFC Featherweight World Champion, Kai ‘King’ Stewart (9-0), ranked third pound-for-pound. Stewart, from Great Falls, Montana, will be defending his world title for a record sixth time. His challenger will be the highly regarded New England combat sports figure, Harry ‘The Hitman’ Gigliotti (6-0, 5 KOs) of Haverhill, MA.

Tickets for BKFC-92 will be available to the public starting Thursday, June 25, at 10 a.m. Purchases can be made via Redsox.com/BKFC. Evergreen Fenway Events accepts Mastercard as its preferred payment method.

Brett Miller, Senior Director of Special Events for Evergreen Fenway Events, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are excited to welcome Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship to Fenway Park for its Massachusetts debut. Fenway Park has a long history of hosting unique sporting and entertainment events, and this event adds another chapter to that tradition. We look forward to welcoming fans for what will be a truly electric night at the ballpark.”

David Feldman, Founder and President of BKFC, shared his excitement: “We’re beyond excited to announce this unprecedented event at Fenway Park on Saturday, August 29. The team at Fenway Park has been outstanding to collaborate with in what is truly a can’t-miss event on the national combat sports calendar. Kai Stewart is one of the most talented bare-knuckle fighters in the world, his reign as our featherweight world champion is truly exceptional, defeating top-rated contenders anywhere in the world. However, fighting at Fenway Park against a Boston sports superstar in Harry Gigliotti, who is also on a tremendous roll over the last three years, is the toughest challenge of Stewart’s career.”

About the Fighters

Kai Stewart, a 26-year-old who emerged as a homegrown BKFC superstar after participating in the promotion’s national tryouts, returns to the ring following a decisive victory against the previously undefeated European Champion Nico Gaffie on March 20, 2026, at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL. Stewart’s notable world title wins include those against Tommy Strydom (BKFC-72), Jimmy Rivera, Bryan Duran (BKFC-62), and Howard Davis (BKFC-56).

Harry Gigliotti, 31, transitioned to bare-knuckle fighting in December 2023 after a four-year professional boxing career that saw him compile a 9-5 record. In his highly anticipated BKFC debut on March 28, 2026, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, the powerful Gigliotti secured a second-round knockout victory against veteran Timothy Mason in front of a large and supportive crowd.

Further details regarding additional bouts and the full fight card for this premier bare-knuckle fighting event will be released in the upcoming weeks. The event is contingent upon final licensing approval from the City of Boston.
