Sungjae Im WITB 2026: A Testament to Timeless Equipment
Sungjae Im, recognized as the 2019 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year, swiftly added two PGA Tour victories to his name: the Honda Classic in 2020 and the Shriners Children’s Open in 2021.
While he hasn't claimed another win since, Im has consistently shown strong performances in major championships. Notably, he secured a tied second place at The Masters in 2020 and a tied fifth in 2025. His top finish at The Open Championship was a tied seventh in 2024.
Heading into the 2026 Major season, Im is undoubtedly aiming to rediscover his winning form, with a promising tied fourth-place finish at the Valspar tournament hinting at a resurgence.
As a dedicated Titleist brand ambassador, Sungjae Im plays a complete set of Titleist gear, complementing his game with stylish Malbon apparel. Let's delve into the South Korean's equipment setup.
Sungjae Im's Equipment Unveiled
Sungjae Im is known for his loyalty to proven equipment, often sticking with clubs that deliver results. His bag notably features the Titleist TSi2 driver, a Titleist TS3 3-wood, and remarkably, a Titleist 818 H2 hybrid—a model originally released in 2017!
His iron set consists of the original Titleist T100 series (3-9), and he employs an interesting wedge configuration. While two of his wedges are the newer SM11 models, his highest lofted wedge is notably the older SM7, a testament to his preference for reliable, older technology.
Completing his setup are a Scotty Cameron Special Select F-5 Tour Prototype putter and the consistent Titleist Pro V1x golf ball.
