Titleist GTS Drivers Make Tour Debut
Introduction
Titleist continues to be the most favored driver on the PGA Tour, with approximately 40% of PGA Tour professionals choosing their clubs.
Just last week, Players Champion Cameron Young executed an impressive drive down the 18th fairway at TPC Sawgrass using his Titleist GT driver. Young, along with runner-up Matt Fitzpatrick, and five of the top seven finishers at the Stadium Course, all played with a Titleist driver.
Following this, Matt Fitzpatrick achieved his third PGA Tour victory at the Valspar Championship.
Today marks the initial introduction of Titleist's next-generation driver technology, the GTS series, to PGA Tour players competing in the Texas Children’s Houston Open.
This new lineup, consisting of the Titleist GTS2, GTS3, and GTS4 driver models, is also being presented to participants at this week’s LPGA Ford Championship and the Korn Ferry Tour’s Club Car Championship.
Titleist's product development is inherently driven by continuous collaboration between its R&D team and the world's leading golfers. Tour professionals, as the game's most demanding users, are vital resources for designing and validating innovations that consistently surpass previous generations.
Thursday will provide the first chance for tour players to use the new GTS drivers in official competition.
Titleist's Dominance on the PGA Tour
In 2025, Titleist was recognized as the most played driver brand on the PGA Tour for the seventh consecutive season, accounting for 40% of all drivers used, according to Darrell Survey data.
Key players who consistently choose a Titleist driver include Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, Jordan Spieth, Bob MacIntyre, Ludvig Aberg, and Adam Scott.
