Dana White Knows Fury-AJ Venue: "I Made The Deal!"

Dana White, the founder of UFC and the new promotion Zuffa Boxing, has announced that he knows the location for the long-awaited heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. White, a prominent figure in combat sports, revealed this information, emphasizing that the fight will take place "where the money is."

"We're the ones who have orchestrated all the agreements for this fight," White told Sky Sports. "I finalized the deal for the venue, which is why I'm aware of its location. We at TKO [the parent company of UFC, WWE, and Zuffa Boxing] handled the television deals and all other aspects."

While there has been considerable speculation that the fight might be held in the United States, Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, has expressed a strong preference for the UK: "I truly believe this should happen in the UK, and we will do everything we can to make that happen."

However, White maintained his stance: "At the end of the day, the reality is, you go where the money is."

The rivalry between Joshua and Fury has been building for nearly a decade, yet a fight between them has never materialized. White commented on the difficulties surrounding the event: "It's been such a mess. It's unbelievable what a mess this whole thing has been."

He further elaborated on the complexities of boxing promotions: "It shows why boxing has been so dysfunctional for so long. Look at this. It's clearly not about the money. The Saudis are funding this fight, so they are making a significant profit. In the short time I've been involved in boxing, about six months, I've noticed that promoters' egos often take precedence over the fights themselves and delivering the matchups fans desire."

"It's all about ego with these promoters," White added. "It's fascinating. These individuals are quite weak; some of the weakest people I've ever encountered in the fight business. It's quite remarkable."

Sky Sports has reached out to Matchroom and Queensberry, the promoters for Joshua and Fury respectively, for comment.

White, who is familiar with both fighters and has known them prior to launching his boxing venture, was a guest at one of White's UFC events held at the White House. He shared his long-standing positive impressions of both athletes.

"I've spoken about Anthony Joshua since he defeated Wladimir Klitschko, thinking he's exactly what boxing needs – a good-looking, charismatic, articulate heavyweight champion. So, I've always had a great deal of admiration for Anthony Joshua," White stated.

"There was a period when Tyson was struggling to secure fights, and he started talking [trash] about UFC fighters, seeking a payday one way or another. That's when I met him, and I've always liked him."

"He's incredibly tough. When Deontay Wilder dropped him, he got back up like a zombie and finished the fight. He's an exciting fighter to watch. He's one of the best ever."
