EA Sports FC 26 Reportedly Reaches Nearly 10 Million Daily Active Users
It's no secret that the EA Sports FC series is a colossal franchise, captivating the attention of countless fans and gamers. In football-obsessed nations like the UK, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, and more, this series consistently ranks among the best-selling games annually, with millions of copies acquired by players. But what is the true scale of EA Sports FC's audience?
YouTuber Nate "TheFutAccountant" Miller recently shared insights in a video (via Eurogamer) from a conversation with an EA Sports FC developer. The developer pointed out that the tens of thousands of players engaging with the PC version on Steam represent a mere fraction compared to the console audience.
Miller stated, "That Steam player count is really low. When I mentioned that to the EA developer, he laughed. He then explained that 9.8 million daily active users was the peak it hit last month." This impressive figure was reportedly achieved in late June or July, underscoring the football game series' sustained success.
It's worth noting that EA Sports FC 26 was expected to draw significant attention this summer, amplified by the excitement surrounding the World Cup. However, given the sport's continuous growth, the future of EA Sports FC appears more promising than ever.
Looking ahead, EA Sports FC 27 is on the horizon, slated for a late September release. The game has been generating considerable buzz lately, with early looks at three of its core modes: "The Grounds," "Career," and "FUT" previews are already available.
