Stranger Things: Tales from '85 Unveils New Trailer
For eager fans yearning for more from the Stranger Things universe, Netflix has just released a brand-new trailer for its upcoming animated spin-off, Tales from '85. This project is shaping up to be an ambitious endeavor to expand the beloved franchise.
The series is set during the winter of 1985, precisely between the second and third seasons of the original show. It takes us back to a snow-covered Hawkins, where a sinister presence lurks within the shadows. Viewers will be reacquainted with the lives of Eleven, Mike, Dustin, and the rest of the gang, with a few fresh faces introduced to spice things up.
The most noticeable change, of course, is the artistic style. Instead of live-action, Netflix has opted for animation this time, drawing inspiration from the very decade the series so lovingly embraces. The trailer hints at a somewhat playful and lighthearted tone, promising adventure, mystery, and (naturally) monsters. Behind the scenes, the Duffer Brothers remain involved as executive producers, while Eric Robles is directing the project.
The premiere of Tales from '85 is scheduled for April 24th.
