Peter Serafinowicz révèle son rôle dans Elden Ring et sa contribution surprenante aux jeux Soulsborne
Bien que ces jeux ne soient pas pour tout le monde, ceux qui tombent amoureux de la série Souls s'y attachent souvent pour de bon. Ces univers riches et profonds, ces combats d'une difficulté exaspérante et leur nature addictive sont captivants. L'acteur Peter Serafinowicz est devenu fan des RPG de FromSoftware dès le premier Dark Souls, à tel point qu'il a contacté la société éditrice pour voir s'il pouvait y participer.
Dans un extrait du podcast "Five Brilliant Things" de Russel Howard, Serafinowicz a mentionné avoir contacté la "société de logiciels" derrière le jeu, il n'est donc pas clair s'il s'est adressé directement à Bandai Namco ou à FromSoftware. Quoi qu'il en soit, cela a fonctionné. Il a décroché un rôle clé dans Dark Souls 2 et dans tous les jeux suivants (à l'exception apparente de Sekiro).
Serafinowicz est la voix derrière tous les cris de mort des personnages masculins dans les jeux Soulsborne. Donc, si vous êtes sur le point de lancer votre manette contre le mur après avoir été vaincu par Malenia une fois de plus, pensez à Brian Butterfield qui subit toutes ces morts atroces à votre place.
Serafinowicz a également un rôle dans le prochain film *Elden Ring*, qu'il a obtenu grâce à une rencontre fortuite avec le réalisateur Alex Garland. Le scénariste et réalisateur d'*Elden Ring* était apparemment au courant de la passion de Serafinowicz pour *Dark Souls*. Avant qu'ils n'aient eu l'occasion de discuter davantage, Garland a dû s'absenter pour une réunion. Lors de la réception, Serafinowicz a laissé un mot avec son numéro et a réussi à poursuivre la conversation pour décrocher le rôle.
